If not now, when?

You may have noticed a gap in my posts to this blog....

I'm starting to notice that "Procrastination is not a strategy".

... or at least it is not a good one.

Now is better than later. A definite later is better than an indefinite later (which means "never"). The longer the later, the less likely it is to occur.

The good news?

There is always something you can do NOW for any goal you might have. (Planning counts.) Planning also helps you break down the goal into smaller tasks that can be started right now.

If not now, when?

Start in 2010!

Fear of Big Numbers

What if you were given the opportunity to make $25K, but it would require an investment of $10K? And what if there were no promises that you would make $25K... but it seemed likely. What then?

Would you take action?

If $10K is not a problem for you, what if there were another zero on those numbers, a profit of $250K for $100K? Could you take the opportunity or would you pass?
"A ship in harbor is safe -- but that is not what ships are built for."
John A. Shedd, Salt from My Attic, 1928

If you are going to be a millionaire, you need to find a way to get comfortable with bigger numbers.
On the flip side, what would be considered the "smallest numbers"?

The answer: Hourly wages. It does not cost you any cash, you are nearly 100% sure you will get paid (at least in the near term) and you are given a small amount of cash. The only thing you lose is your time ... but time adds up and if you aren't careful, you will end up losing your whole life ... one hour at a time.

Your life is worth more.

Figure out how you are going to change the numbers in your life ... and create a life !

As Marshall Sylver says, "Money is Math."

Where is your comfort zone in terms of numbers?

WHEN are you going to change? Do you HAVE to change?

I've been thinking alot about why I'm not doing everything that I know I should to move myself forward to my goals and as they say, "when the student is ready, the teacher appears".

Check out the video by Tony Robbins and see if it does not get you moving ....

Warning:
The video is about 38 minutes long ... but worthwhile if you are not getting the results you want!
